B.F.A. Graphic Design

I strive to be a winner.

I strive to be a winner in design, sports, and in life. To me, that doesn’t mean making a butt load
of money or carrying a team on my shoulders to the National Championship; it means I continue
to move forward despite challenges and learning from failures.

As a collegiate athlete, I faced 2 injuries that ended my sophomore and junior seasons before
they began. I didn’t let that stop me from returning my senior year and rejoining my team. That
experience built my resilience, my discipline, and my refusal to settle. I learned how to push
through setbacks, trust the process, and keep going when it would be easier not to. Even if it did
cost me my meniscus in the end.

That same mentality defines how I approach design. I am always analyzing, always thinking,
and always refining. I cannot sit in a restaurant without studying the typography and layout of
the menu, breaking down what works and what doesn’t. Design is not something I switch on and
off, it’s how I see the world.

My work is rooted in intention, clarity, and impact. I create visual identities that feel strong,
considered, and real. Every detail matters, and every decision has a purpose. Through multiple
recoveries, I made a conscious effort to keep my work lighthearted and playful, helping me stay
mentally happy while still producing work with depth and meaning.

I am constantly chasing improvement. I want feedback, I look for it, and I use it. Growth is part
of the process, and I am committed to it. This is how I will be a winner.
