Jenna Noble
B.F.A. Graphic Design
I try to put feeling, emotion, and culture into everything I design. I research new places and
experiences to help translate those impressions into visuals that actually make people feel
something. For the Surf Museum branding, for example, I wanted to capture the sense of
freedom you get out on the water, so I used cool tones and flowing, wave-like shapes to echo
the ocean’s movement.
My style shifts depending on the brand, but I tend to lean toward an illustrative approach that
shows up in much of my work. Nature is a huge influence for me; I have always loved being
outside and I try to bring that quiet beauty into my designs. Branding is where I really thrive
because there is something deeply satisfying about crafting an identity people will live with and
recognize for years.
Art has been part of my life since I can remember. Turning a childhood habit of drawing and
painting into a career feels rewarding every day. I enjoy building brands for new and established
companies alike. I am open to trying many styles, but I am wary of AI in creative work because it
often relies on other people’s labor and misses the subtle, thoughtful decisions a human
designer makes. When I hear about a new brand, my brain immediately starts sketching logo
ideas and imagining ways to pull everything together into a cohesive whole.
